Two years ago, Teen Dream was such an amazing album that it made you worry a little bit as to where Beach House could possibly go from there. This, the Baltimore duo's fourth album, is far better than anything they've done, and that's saying something. the songwriting is tighter, the lyrics are more straightforward, and Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally's experience makes all 10 songs even dreamier. This band is, by a wide margin, the best one at making you forget you're in Baltimore.
